The Korean Ministry of Employment and Labor's new policy which gives double wages to employees who take parental leave seems successful. Last year, men who took paternity leave surpassed 20,000. The figure excludes employees like civil workers and teachers who are not covered by the new policy. According to the rapid surge of the proportion of men who take paternity leave, we could draw a better workplace.
